AN ATTEMPT TO APPEASE THE THE GODS WITH AUTOMATION AND ROCK N ROLL
Two people are taken from the audience and buckled into saddles on either end of the machine and lifted into the air. Both participants are provided hand controllers that allow them to control the movement of the rider on the opposite end of the machine.
A rock and roll band is playing electric instruments nearby. The amplification for the band is turned on by the machine only while the machine is in operation. The band members (Outside Man) wear helmets that isolate the band from the audience and have no ability to perceive the audience.
